Manufacturers of expanded and extruded polystyrene products and PS/PE based Interpolymer like E-por require a flexible, clean and cost-effective colouring process. Holland Colours has developed a special series of encapsulated pigments for colouring expanded polystyrene (EPS) and PS/PE based Interpolymer like E-por,  that is unique in composition and easy to use for construction, shipping/containment and other applications. The Holcobatch line of colourants is easy to handle, require no additional fixing agent during the expansion process, and has no negative effects on end-product properties.

For EPS and also for the Interpolymer, E-por applications, Holcobatch is a micro bead format with spherical particles of about 200-500 microns, and a carrier with a low melting point. It adheres to the surface of the EPS or E-por bead guaranteeing a clean system with no dust or contamination problems which eliminates a significant problem when trying to colour EPS or E-por. Holcobatch has a dosing level of approx. 0.05 % - 0.5 % in EPS and E-por applications.
Holcobatch for Expanded and Extruded Polystyrene and PS/PE based Interpolymer like E-por is available in a standard pallete of colours, or custom colours can be developed to meet specific needs. Standard colours are held in stock for immediate shipment.
